Developed a virtual office Ajax application service called MyOfiz. You can see it at http://www.myofiz.com. It allows a group of people to collaborate over the internet. You need to be invited to use MyOfiz. Send me an email if you want to use it.

I am also developing an Accounting ASP solution that enables double entry accounting via the web using any standard browser. Uses Extjs, PHP, XML, technology.

I am also working on developing a Simple Workflow engine using a simple workflow standard to allow businesses to deploy automated processes in a cost effective manner.

I am interested in taking up browser based software development work using the latest web technologies like Ajax, XML, XSLT on client side and PHP , Database on server side. The key advantages of browser based software products being that -

  • No software to be installed on the client side
  • Upgrades and patches need be done only on the server

 

Experience

I developed software for the Symbian OS, specifically for Nokia Series 60 mobile phones. If you have a Series 60 phone you can download the software at the bottom of the page. Here I used C++ and the Series 60 SDK for development.

Developed a digital signature software product for a leading software company in India. Its a desktop solution for anyone to digitally sign documents in the electronic form on a personal computer.This solution coupled with a licensed digital certificate empowers any user to harness the power of digital certificates without bothering about the underlying technology. The software product was developed in C++ on windows using COM and MFC.

These are what I have been doing in the last few years. I have a total of 24 years of experience in software engineering. I received a bachelors degree in engineering from National Institute of Technology, Calicut in 1982.
